SEMICONDUCTOR POSITIVE SIGNS
There are some positive signs and movement within the semiconductor industry even though things are still quite tight in terms of hiring. In communicating with hundreds of semiconductor candidates day in and day out we are finding that many are now working more hours than in previous years. Most semiconductor companies have had staff reductions within the last year and those that continue to hold onto their jobs are taking on additional responsibilities of those that were downsized. There isn't always an immediate reduction in overall company workload after sizeable numbers of people went out the door.
